What is #givingtuesday?
GivingTuesday reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and generosity.
It is a global network that collaborates year-round to inspire generosity around the world, with a common mission to build a world where generosity is part of everyday life.
Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give.
How to Participate
DONATE!
Consider making a monthly contribution of $5, $10, or $15 through our online portal, or call our office to complete a phone pledge. Money donated on Giving Tuesday helps us provide Scout Scholarships and Camperships, and to maintain and upgrade our camp facilities.
SHARE!
Share the Scouting story online via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or another platform. You can share your personal Scouting story, or copy/paste one of our social media templates below
VOLUNTEER!
Make a committment to volunteer as an adult leader in your local Scout Pack or Troop. Every unit needs dedicated adults to help with program, management, committees, and finances. Or consider taking a council volunteer position as a commissioner or committee member for all of Southeast Minnesota!
