Welcome from Scout Executive Arne Landsverk

Dear leaders, parents, and supporters of better futures,

As we welcome a new year, I want to recognize you, the individuals who make Scouting in southeastern Minnesota truly extraordinary. Your commitment, your steadiness, and your willingness to step forward provides tremendous opportunity for the youth of the Gamehaven Council.

Scouting has shaped the lives of hundreds of thousands of youth in southeastern Minnesota since 1935. While Scouting certainly looks different from our early history, our goal has never changed: to inspire our youth to reach greater heights.

We are embracing new ways to meet the needs of today’s youth – such as innovative outdoor experiences, new council programs, leadership development, and
service opportunities. Gamehaven Council is evolving with purpose and momentum.

In 2026, we will continue investing in programs and properties that help young people thrive. This program catalog is a roadmap to better futures for Scouts, your
unit, and ultimately, our country.

Thank you for providing steadfast leadership to your unit and to our council, and for collectively working together to ensure that our Scouts have the experiences they need and deserve.

Yours in Scouting,

Arne Landsverk, Gamehaven Council Scout Executive

IMPACT365 Service Initiative

“For more than a century, Scouting America has helped young people become leaders and responsible citizens. The values of Scouting – trustworthiness,
loyalty, helpfulness, and reverence – are the same values that have guided our nation for 250 years. Together with America250, we will empower Scouts to
honor our past and lead us into the future.”

– Roger Krone, 2026 Chief Scout Executive

The Impact 365 intiative this year is challenging every troop, pack, ship, and crew in Scouting America to bring 250 hours of service to their communities, in honor of the 250th birthday of the United States. Every unit that participates will be recognized by Gamehaven Council, with
special recognition for the top three units in service hours per youth member.

How Do We Get Started in Religious Emblems Programs?

1. Youth members must obtain the specific booklet for their religion.

2. Check with your council store or contact the religious organization directly

3. Each youth member needs their own booklet to document progress.

4. Some religions offer adult manuals for counselors and mentors.

5. Parents must review the program guidelines.

6. Some programs require participants to be official “members” of the religious institution.

7. Age/grade requirements vary from program to program.

8. Each program sets its own guidelines as to who may serve as counselor. Some programs require clergy to serve as counselors; other programs allow parents or other family members to serve as counselors.

9. Families should talk to their religious leaders and show them the booklet before beginning any program.

10. Most programs require that they be completed under the auspices of that religious organization.

11. Many programs require the signature of the local religious leader.

12. The youth member needs to complete the requirements, obtain the proper signatures, and follow the instructions to order the emblem.

13. These emblems are not available from your local council store (follow the instructions in your booklet).

14. The emblem should be presented in a meaningful ceremony, preferably in the member’s religious institution.
