Before we dive into the priority projects for August, let’s have a big virtual round of applause for our properties volunteers, who have been tirelessly working on keeping the camp looking great all summer long! I don’t think it’s looked this good in over five years – keep up the great work!
Priority Projects for August
- Castle “Drawbridge” – Check boards, as there are a few soft and/or bending boards
- Family Cabins – replace pest-eaten boards in ceilings and soffit.
- “Boy Scout” side – mow and trim campsites, as they’ve gotten pretty overgrown
- Prepare Killen trail and stations for the Killen shoot on September 7th
- Continue mowing and trimming around areas in main camp
